Greetings Dear Friends
Happy to be back in Canada and looking forward to seeing you at some upcoming events. The Lovefest is on the road this month, once in Ottawa and once in Kingston. See details below. Next month, on June 15, we'll be in Owen Sound. I've often been asked to teach a workshop on overtone singing - now an opportunity has arisen. see details below. It's been a busy few weeks, so I haven't had time to put together an article for this newsletter. Sorry about that - we'll be back on track for the next newsletter. Something I'd like to tell you about - I'm involved with a group who are building an intentional community in Guelph - a place where we can live in an environment of shared values. If you are interested in such a thing and you'd like to know more about it, please feel free to contact me. If you'd like to access past newsletters containing articles on the Big Shift, as well as articles on the Physics of Mysticism, Magic, the Power of Mantra and other topics, please visit the 'newsletter' page of my website: whyislife.com

The 'Altogether Now' workshop series presents:
Introduction to
The Ancient Art of Overtone Singing
with Dennis Gaumond
Overtone singing is an ancient practice embraced by many cultures, including Tibetan monks and shamanic Mongolians from the province of Thuva. It is a method by which we maximize the healing potential of the human voice. This workshop is a unique and rare opportunity to learn the basic method of overtone singing - creating a fundamental note while at the same time emitting beautiful flute-like overtones. It is also an opportunity to experience the healing vibrations of a group toning together with united intent and open hearts. The workshop will include some information about overtoning, a lesson in overtoning, and a 'sound massage' using singing crystal bowls, etc. Come and participate in this fascinating sound and healing activity. Afternoon workshop (co-ed) Saturday, June 1, 2013. 1-4 p.m. Cost: $45 Location: 238 Kathleen St., Guelph |
