GREETINGS DEAR FRIENDS
It's time again for my annual workshop week-end at UNICAMP. This event is always mucho fun - see below for details.
Bhadra Light, including myself, Jen Gilmor and a surprise guest will be part of an exciting event at Crystal Journey Acres, near Owen Sound on July 11 with David Hickey. This will be a 'don't miss' occasion.
We have some exciting news to announce - after two years of hard work and collaboration we have launched an exciting new organization - the Canadian Association of Sound Practitioners (CASP). If you are interested in learning more and/or in becoming a member, please visit casp.com .
This month's article is about the idea that the Nazi movement was originally rooted in occult ideology. If you'd like to access past newsletters containing the ongoing articles on the Physics of Mysticism, Magic, the Power of Mantra and other topics, please visit the 'newsletter' page of my website: whyislife.com Peace and love, Dennis. |

THE NAZIS AND THE OCCULT
by Dennis Gaumond
Not
many people are aware of the connection between the Nazi movement and the
occult. Some historians believe that they were obsessed with 'mystery school'
information and the acquisition of sacred 'power relics' such as the Holy Grail
and the Arc of the Covenant. It is said that Hitler did not commence his
military aggressions until he had possession of the 'Spear of Longinus'; an
ancient artifact once owned by Charlemagne that was said to have some sort of
magical power. Both Hitler and Himmler were very well versed in scripture and
mystical writings. The Nazis conducted extensive archeological searches,
especially in Tibet and the Chinese province of Shensi. They also thoroughly
researched anything that could be considered paranormal, enlisting the services
of noted magician, Aleister Crowley and others.
The
Nazi movement had its roots in mystical organizations. An enigmatic character and a General in WWI,
Karl Haushofer was an occultist who spent much time in Tibet and was a member
of the Bon priesthood. After WWI he formed two societies, the Thule Society
(Thule was the main city of Hyperborea, the mythological home of the ancient
Aryan race), and the Vril Society (Vril, which means 'psychic energy', is said
to be the language of the ancient Atlanteans.) The Thule Society was split into
two parts, an esoteric branch led by Rudolph Steiner, and an exoteric branch of
industrialists and bankers that was eventually led by Hitler. This latter group
eventually drove Steiner out of Germany. The controversial Vril Society is said
to have had a great interest in metaphysics and to have taken part in many
strange projects and experiments, including the construction of strange 'flying
saucer'-type craft. Some believe that they received information for this
construction from a group of ETs called the Aldeberans.
The
goal of Haushofer and his associates was to bring a new order of 'spirituality'
to the world that was to last for 1,000 years. They backed the German war
effort until Hitler started rounding up and killing Jews. They felt that Hitler
was out of control, that the movement had gone astray and they withdrew
support.
After
the war the extensive Nazi files, chockfull of all sorts of wild and wonderful
info, went to the CIA. This included the results of mind-control and
brainwashing experiments done in concentration camps. Some people (including
myself) believe that the upper echelons of most power elites throughout
history, at levels above that of political leaders and public figures, are well
aware of magic, the power of consciousness, metaphysics and many other topics
that would be considered 'occult'. (For more info on this topic, see 'The
Occult Conspiracy', by Michael Howard, 'Nazis and the Occult', by Dusty Sclar,
'The Spear of Destiny' by Trevor Ravenscroft and 'The Black Sun', by Peter
Moon. A Google search of this topic
will yield many other sources as well.)
